"Wisdom I loved and searched for from my youth." Wisdom 8:2 The Young Adults members of CLC - those in their twenties and thirties, married and single - deeply value the grace of the CLC "way". It provides us with space in a busy world, a common purpose and a shared vision of goodness, and supportive friendships in a community that is essentially nourished by prayer. Young adult years are years when decisions have to be made, decisions about the direction of our lives. We particularly value the help that CLC gives us, by helping us to understand the Ignatian way of finding where God is leading us.
We are active in many forms of ministry to each other, our CLC community and the wider Christian community. We are keenly aware of the desperate need for community, spirituality and social justice in a world which is too often individualistic, materialistic and unjust. We try to live our normal lives so as to offer, in simplicity and love, a prophetic vision of a different way. Specific young adult CLC groups are located mostly in London and Birmingham, although many CLC groups across the country have young adult members. If you would like to meet or talk to a young adult member of CLC in your region please email info@clcew.org.uk Activities organised by young adult CLC which are open to all young adults: Mountain Spirituality
