The National Assembly is an annual weekend gathering for the Christian Life Community in England and Wales. It is an opportunity:
- to meet CLC members and enjoy a wider sense of community
- to learn more about Ignatian spirituality and the CLC way of life
- to gain a broader perspective of CLC nationally and worldwide
- for listening, private prayer, reflection and small group sharing
The Assembly is open to all CLC members and anyone interested in Ignatian spirituality, CLC or the broader topic of ecology and the environment.Arrivals are from 4pm on Friday 10th July. The evening meal is at 7pm and followed by the introductory session at 8pm. The Assembly will finish after lunch on Sunday 12th July 2015. The theme of this year’s National Assembly looks in more depth at one of the four priorities identified as the “frontiers” at the CLC World Assembly 2013 (Lebanon). Ecology and the environment was identified as a global priority with links to another of the frontiers of ‘globalisation & poverty’.
